I have lost count on how many CD’s/albums I have recorded.  But one thing I’m positive about is I couldn’t have done it myself.  We always start out with the songwriters.  For what is a singer without a song?  I appreciate the songwriters and their publishers for letting me record these wonderful, moving songs that touched my heart so deeply.  I have no idea how many songs Allison Jones, Velvet Reid and I listened to before we settled on the final 10.  Thanks so much Allison and Velvet for keeping it all straight!  I love being in the studio.  It’s a creative session that always has me pumped and eager to get after it.  I love to watch Dann Huff, the engineers and the musicians and work together to get the best sound for the song, while keeping the soul totally intact.  Thanks Dann.  it’s been a while since we’ve worked together in the studio and now that we’re back together ,try hiding from me!!!!  Thanks to all the musicians for making the studio time so enjoyable, fun and creative.  You always amaze me.  Thank to all my Starstruck family for having everything fine tuned and in great shape for me going into the studio.  To my band and crew, can’t wait until we get to play these songs live!  We’ll have a blast!!!  When we’re finished in the studio, we turn the music over to the competent hands of our leader, Scott Borchetta and his wonderful team at The Valory Music Co.  The last CD, being our first CD together, was a blast!  Three top tens and a number one that lasted 4 weeks on the charts!  I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work and believing in me.  I don’t even think of it as work because you’re so much fun to be with.  To the fans, I sure hope you like this CD.  You’ve told me so far that you love the first single “Turn On The Radio” so I hope that trend continues with the rest of the songs.  You’re the best fans in the world and I sure do appreciate each and every one of you.  To radio, thanks so much for all the years you’ve been there for me, playing my music for the folks and letting me continue to do what I love to do so much.  Thanks for the entertainment!  Narvel Blackstock, first my husband-second my manager, thanks for listening to the large amount of songs with me when I wasn’t exactly sure if it was for “me” or not.  I trust your judgement with songs like I do the rest of my life.  Thanks for always knowing what’s best for the family and the Brand. Now, sit back, relax, and let your mind paint the video for each of the songs you’re fixing to hear.  Some sad, some happy and some that’ll make you go “hmmmmm”.  Again, I love you all.
