Premiere Radio Networks presents its 2010 CMA Awards Preview Special hosted by four-time CMA “Female Vocalist of the Year” Award winner Reba. The four-hour radio special, which airs in advance of “The 44th Annual CMA Awards,” features music and interviews with all the top stars, including Awards co-host and reigning “Male Vocalist of the Year” Brad Paisley, reigning “Entertainer of the Year” Taylor Swift, George Strait, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Martina McBride, reigning “Vocal Group of the Year” Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and reigning “Vocal Duo of the Year” Sugarland, among others. The special is currently being broadcast to stations nationwide. Sponsors of the remote and/or radio package include OnStar, Sudafed and Farmers Insurance.

Reba, who is nominated for the CMA “Female Vocalist of the Year” Award, has garnered tremendous success with her current single, “Turn on the Radio,” from her upcoming album All The Women I Am, which will be released on November 9. Reba, who was voted “Entertainer of the Year” in 1986, will also perform on the Awards telecast.

In addition, Premiere will present a live radio broadcast of the Awards telecast, black carpet interviews with the stars, as well as a live post-Awards broadcast with the winners, which will be hosted by Premiere Radio personality Larry Morgan.

On November 10, Larry Morgan will talk to the stars as they make their way down the black carpet prior to the Awards telecast. The Black Carpet Reports will air during afternoon drive on stations nationwide. Following the Awards, Larry Morgan will speak to the night’s big winners as they host the post-Awards show.

Polycom, a global leader in unified communications (UC), will utilize the Polycom UC Intelligent Core and its cutting-edge video and telepresence solutions to record all of the backstage/post-show activity, which Premiere will make available to Country radio via its CMA Awards Video player that is running on all CMA Awards remote affiliate websites. In addition, Polycom will record all remote broadcast interviews and make them available for stations to download. As previously announced, Country radio stations participating in Premiere’s annual radio remote broadcast leading up to “The 44th Annual CMA Awards,” will leverage Polycom’s video and telepresence solutions to enable virtual participation in the remote broadcast from Nashville Nov. 7 - 9. This innovative technology will allow stations to interview Country Music’s biggest stars via live video, thus minimizing on-site staff to a single representative.

In conjunction with “The 44th Annual CMA Awards,” Premiere Radio will be hosting 50 of the country’s top radio stations as they broadcast their morning or afternoon shows live from Nashville in the days leading up to “The 44th Annual CMA Awards” presentation.
