Reba McEntire claims the Hot Shot Debut trophy on Country Airplay at No. 45 with “Going Out Like That” (Nash Icon/Valory), her first debut as a solo artist in more than three years. The song wins Most Added honors with at least seven first-time plays (Monday-Sunday) at 21 of the 146 stations monitored for the chart. She last charted as a featured singer alongside Trisha Yearwood on Kelly Clarkson’s “Silent Night,” which debuted and peaked at No.51 on the Jan.11, 2014 list, but hadn’t placed a single by herself on the survey since “Somebody’s Chelsea” peaked at No. 44 (Nov. 19, 2011). Dating to the chart’s launch 25 years ago (January 1990), the 2011 Country Music Hall of Fame honoree has notched 11 No. 1s. She last reached the summit with “Turn On the Radio” four years ago (Jan. 1, 2011). The new song previews McEntire’s next album, reportedly due in April.
